Rules
- An individual position can be shared among several people if they choose. That person or group of persons is responsible for having someone show up on game day. League fees are still payable even if no substitute can be found.
- The season will run from October through June. The competition will be held on the first Wednesday of every month and we will start at 7:05 pm.
- Each week, you will receive points based on how well you did rotisserie style. 15 points for 1st place, 14 points for 2nd place, etc. All the way down to 15th place, for which you will earn 1 point.
- Two people knocked out in the same hand will determine position by who had more chips going into their final hand. The player with more chips will get the higher position.
- Double point nights will be held in December, March, and June. Double point nights will be played with a $15,000 starting stack. Other nights will be played with a $10,000 starting stack.
- Seating will be determined by random seating assignments by the league timing app.
- League Fees: $50 per player per month will be collected before each monthly tournament to count towards the end of year payout.
- End of season payout: Top four spots will be paid out 40%, 30%, 20%, and 10% of the prize fund, respectively.
- Ties at the end of the season... two people tied for first: we'll add the first place money and the second-place money, divide it among the two of them, and then pay out the third-place money to the next highest scorer, and so on until all the money has been paid out.
- Monthly Side Pot. $60 per person goes into a side pot for payouts each month. The top four places are paid out in cash.
- Late Arrivals/No Shows
- If you are going to be late, it's important that you let someone know. If we don't hear from you before the start of the tournament, you will go out in last place, and receive one point for the night. If we do hear from you, you will have until the end of the 3rd round to make it to the tournament. You will be blinded until you show up. If you don't show up by the end of the third round, you will go out in last place and your remaining chips will be removed from play. So texting or calling us gives you that extra time to show up!
- If you can't make it or we haven't heard from you before the start of the tournament, you will go out in last place and receive one point for the night. If this includes more than one person, the person farthest from the dealer (based on random seating assignment at beginning of night) gets 1 point, next closest gets 2 points, etc.
- You can always reach Marc at (732) 865-6739 if you have questions or want to let me know you're going to be late or can't make it. I might also be able to help you find a substitute player.
